DEAD BEAT!
I'm tired, dead beat, exhausted, whatever word there is to desribe my lack of sleep! Yesterday went for the class bbq at school and reached home quite late. Slept at 1am and this morning woke up at 7am to do my RJ coz its closing at 8am. It's a good 6hours only ok, i cant do with it! Around 9am went to market with mum, and the moment i reached home at 10am+ i fell on bed and went to sleep all the way to mid afternoon. But now i still feel tired, I feel like sleeping.
My cough's not ok yet, it didn't worsen, it didn't turn for the better, it just stayed there as it was. And i saw the that cause for it not recovering was that on wednesday, i ate nasi lemak which has got two small fried chicken, on thursday, i ate a $2.60(so you can guess how many grams of sweet it was) mixed and match sour sweet from 7-11, and finished it within 6hours, on friday, i ate nasi lemak which also has a fried chicken for lunch and bbq at night.
Today i ate fish and chip for lunch. So with this, i don't see how my cough is ever going to recover. It's always hard not to eat fried food, but then again, it depends on oneself. See, it's very tempting when you see the crispy fried chicken or whatever fried food it is, it's crispy on the outside. K, from tomorrow onwards, i should cut down on fried food.
And next wednesday i'm going to eat buffet with my family at Paris(it's a shop name, dumb) coz it's my dad's birthday.
Now it's time for me to sleep already!!
Life's a series of phases
BUSY BUSY!!!
Last weekend hung out with some old frens, sec sch frens... Went out to eat, swim, walk walk, and update about each other's life.
This week's been busy, like last week, and the rest of the week will be like that.. Same life... It's not busy la, but the things i did everyday is the same, NO CHANGE. Going to join IG soon, some social work thing, I can't join sports club, everyone knows how much i hate sports and exercising. Anyway, IG+normal class=NO LIFE!
Now it's lunch time and i'm in class blogging, coz im done with my task and i really have nothing better to do! Later going to have a class BBQ session at the school's hostel.
first week of school
This is the forth day of school already, and after tomorrow, there goes the first week of school! OK, firstly, i'm damn suay enough to be sick right at the first week of school! Monday was nice, tuesday i have sore throat, wednesday i got flu, today i have both sore throat and flu. Can imagine how that feels? Having such a lousy voice and still have this flu, can only say my immune system is damn lousy lah!
Missed most of my lunchtime except that for wednesday had lunch with chao coz wed there isn't alot of people. There's only two canteen la so might as well don't go for lunch coz can't find a place to sit anyway, but that's too bad la, haven't get to try all the canteen food. And in 7-11 there's always long queues lor. Surprisingly, i don't feel any hunger when in class, its only when school end then i realise i'm hungry.
Lunch doesn't matter alot la, nowadays mum's preparing breakfast for me. Hotdog bread, fried maggie, fish porridge.. and so on, yum yum.
Last few days didn't have time to update my blog, coz don't quite have the time. When i reach home, it's already 5.30pm. And after tv and dinner, it'll be almost 7.30-8pm already. Then i still have to do my evaluation and jounal thing, after that will be 9pm already, TV time! That's how my life is now, Busy busy.
I missed my 5 months of holidaying. Sleeping at past midnight and waking up in the afternoons. It sounds unhealthy, but i like it. Inside my body ,it's like a normal clock already. Now that school starts, there's a fixed time to wake up. That sounds boring! And that's waking up before the sun rises, how tiring can that be! I'm not used to that yet, and it seems like i'm day-dreaming in class again,Oops, back to that old secondary school habit.
Today went to sakae sushi for lunch. I just love their soft shell handroll and
chawanmushi, which is steamed egg. They're simply delicious. If i were to go there again, these would be the two things that i must order.HAHA, i really love it, it smells nice and taste great!
Today went to some sports shop to look for jackets. Some that i saw was either too expensive or not what i wanted. Then saw this mizuno jacket at world of sports that's quite pretty. May be getting nike anyway, but who knows, i'm fickle minded.
Tomorrow will be the first day of school. It's quite ironic that during sec school, we should keep quiet during class, and at poly we should talk as much as we can. Anyway, school starts sounds boring. Imagine during break time, i don't even get the chance to eat, coz they only have 2 canteen, and thousands of students! Hope tomorrow will go well la.
Here have a look at my class... Oh and not forgetting that i take a lift to my class, interesting?.. i find that quite fun... Think i go to school looking forward to taking lifts only.
But its a headache la, everyday got to think of what to wear, i have a lack of clothing...
I've got my pus removed already.. The doctor used a needle to poke my lids! It was pain pain pain.. indescribable pain! And there was no hand for me to hold i just held my own hands tight.. like me shaking hand to myself. He pinched and pushed my eyes inside to force the pus out, i can feel my eyes almost getting to the back of my head!
Doctor say if the swollen part didn't heal, then will have to cut it away, which means surgery, a small one... But luckily now its much more better already, though a little bit still blocked my view, and the lids are still red.. natural eyeshadow. Hope that its only going to get better.
Yesterday went to the second day of orientation. And, ya, it was everything i had guessed. We played icebreaker games, other games, did cheers, sang song, and danced. There's goodie bag and lunch provided. But at times can be quite boring, just sitting there doing nothing... coz everyone's tired like hell.
When i got back home, it was already 8pm and i was feeling so tired and hungry already, after a whole day at school, running about.. Today was supposed to go for the third day of orientation, but didn't. Today it will end at 10pm, so i guess if i go, i will reach home at 11pm++, and i can just go to sleep without bathing. It's a good 13 and a 1/2 hours at school.
Bad eye day!
Today is a bad eye day! Eye got even more swollen and today orientation ... damn suay. Feel so uneasy , imagine feeling something on the lids and somemore it blocked a bit of my view. Later people think i watch porn or something...HAHA. Later going to clinic to have the pus remove..
YEAH! oH doctor please save my eye..don't refer me to hospital again.. But really scared that it will be pain man...
Today reached school at around 8.30am++.. Thought late but when alight from the train, saw that the whole street is full of students walking to school. Quite a funny image coz a big load of people squeezing into a footpath waiting for the green man to blink. Wonder is it only during orientation or normal school day is like that.
Today orientation was not quite ok.. Most of my classmates, at least those who keep speaking up, they've got powerful english.. And they don't quite use singlish like leh lor mah ah.. HAHA! But the facilitator was quite funny, think all facilitators are humurous. Today saw chun mei, sasi, sali.. Ha.. it's nice knowing there's friends from the old school in the same school.
How time flys! School is starting in a few days time. Really don't feel like going to school again... waking up so early, squeezing in the train etc... I don't wanna be squeezed like a pancake even before i reach school. Just went to check my class, it's full of strangers.Haha.. Of course la, new school, new environment, new people, new beginning! And my class is on the 6th floor. I was thinking whether there is lift or have to take the stairs.
Tomorrow is the first day of orientation. And thursday friday! Imagine 25 strangers sitting in a class not knowing what to do.. It's always awkward, let's see tomorrow. Remember the first day of my secondary school, i was like a total idiot, and even late! Tomorrow meeting chao n ks at 7.30am.
Today early morning went to polyclinic, ks accompany. There's something wrong with my eyes, something protruding out a month ago and recently started to swell. It has got to a point where i can see this little swelling. Doctor said it's an eye infection and there's pus inside so he referred me to NUH to have the pus removed. It's so gross and scary my legs turned wobbly immediately!
When i told dad he said no need to go hospital, just use a needle poke it or use hand to squeeze it... I almost throw up. Then i was thinking what if the whole needle poke into my eyes.. what if the needle and hand is not clean enough.. Then my eyes will be more infected! And the appointment is on the 2nd day of school, and i wouldn't want to miss school on the 2nd day. It's the earliest date and there's no appointment on saturday.. i don't know what i should do... Dad say maybe go private clinic, the doctor will removed it on the spot.
Went out for lunch with parents and after i got home i really feel so tired- woke up so early, all the poking thing.. really make me want to faint! So when i reach home first thing i put on the medicine that doctor prescribed, its an eye drop and a cream to apply onto the lids, and i took a nap for 3 hours.
It's damn disgusting, and i'm starting to feel the slight pain already, awhile before it was itching... From morning until now my leg is still soft.. I just feel weak i can't take it... Get rid of that thing faster!!!! Someone save me pls!!
Yesterday went to bugis with parents to pray, but i didn't la, it was so pack with people. Also went to seiyu to shop coz they are having sale, bought a top only.
Today went there again with ks to see the laptop bag and shop as well. At boon lay mrt we saw edwin and we were too shock to say anything.haha, and at bugis station we saw xian bringing her bro, she say she looked like obasan. Bought a pair of flats and then went back to jp to shop coz i wasn't contented. Pure milk was having sale so i bought a skirt half its original price. Think one of these days i should go back and buy afew more.
Today should have got my hair cut but i missed my appointment, i'll have it cut next thursday or friday. It shall go slightly above my collar bone. May not be nice on me but i'm just playing around with my hair. If it looks bad i'll just tie it up and everythings done. Anyway hair grows, i finally realise. At least it won't be that irritating hanging around my shoulder. And when the wind blows it will not look like taking mv or something.Haha.
Recently i'm reading this book titled eat cake. That's a funny title and its the cover page that attracted me, and i realise i always concentrate more on the cover page than its content. But its quite a meaningful book with some meaningful paragraphs inside. There's some really funny part too, shall share it here and so that i can always read it when i feel like.
This part is when the author is clearing her cabinet and taking out her pans in every direction.
"Dear god, ruth, you aren't going to bake another cake, are you?"
"I am going to bake another cake" I said "In fact, i'm going to bake alot of cakes. I'm going to bake until every surface of this kitchen is covered in cakes."
My mother looked at me as if i had lost my mind. "We're supposed of eat that much cake?"
At this point i thought of the mother's expression, and that's what makes it more funny. Call me insane.
And not forgetting its april fool's day!
